In 2010, Wensi Heritage constructed Ning Shan Ting in Melaka, a temple in the compound of the new Serene Park Columbarium. Ning Shan Ting is a Hokkien-style temple with a three-bayed hall and a prayer pavilion. The spaces, sequenced longitudinally from the eastward entrance, are the entrance gate, the granite front yard, the prayer pavilion, the main hall, air wells and finally the toilets. Like many other Hokkien temples in Melaka, the design of Ning Shan Ting continues a defensive language, where the temple is surrounded by a peripheral wall and is only accessible from its entrance gate. Entering from the gate, one arrives at the granite-laid yard and is welcomed by the temple itself. The administration office stood to the right of the yard.

The entrance gate and the prayer pavilion both have gable roofs where their roof structures are exposed at the sides. On the other hand, the main hall has a gable roof. All these roofs have the classical Hokkien-style curved ridges with ‘swallow tail’ ends. The roofs are laid with curved tiles. Thematic porcelain shard sculptural works decorate the central ridges: “phoenix and peony” on the entrance gate; lions, peony and curios on the prayer pavilion; and The Eight Immortals on the main hall. The office has a slightly different roof language, where the central roof ridges are terminated by gable ends instead of ‘swallow tails’.
