华德宫古庙座落于马六甲的观音亭街内巷，是一座小巧的庙宇，主祀温府王爷。它建于1863年之前，为单层单开间的建筑，格局纵深，全长共两进。临大街的五脚基上，两只方形杜斯坎柱设为檐柱，上拱着墀头，内饰小石狮镇邪。门面的门窗布局类似店屋式的一门二窗，窗作竹节圆窗，上饰书卷。由于受店屋式的格局所限制，左右山墙各需筑高于屋面，因此华德宫的屋顶是较朴实的硬山单檐式，但作为宫庙建筑，五脚基和前殿的屋顶都作更华丽的三段式屋脊。五脚基屋顶的中脊作闽式燕尾翘角，脊上饰鳌鱼，脊肚则饰凤凰剪黏，插脊则止于山墙的墙头。前殿屋顶中脊上则饰双龙戏珠，与前面的鳌鱼装饰构成极具层次感的天际线。文思古建公司于2005年受聘全面承修华德宫。

Wah Teck Keong Temple is a Hokkien style temple in an alley off Temple Street of Melaka. It was built before 1863 and was consecrated to the King of Wen. The temple is single-storeyed with the form of a straits shophouse and has two sections across its depth. Fronting the street is the five footway of the temple, where a pair of Tuscan columns could be found supporting the roof eaves through an intermediate Chinese chi tou. The facade of the temple has single door with side windows similar to shophouse. Being a terraced building, the party walls extend beyond the roof surface in the form of angular gable ends and serve as termination to the central roof ridges. To accentuate its religious function, both central roof ridges of the two sections are constructed in the style of the more elaborate tripartite ridge with ‘swallow tail’ ends. The front roof ridge is decorated with ao yu and phoenix jian nian sculptures, while the rear roof ridge is adorned with a pair of dragon scultpures. The juxtaposition of the front and rear roofs creates a rich skyline. Wensi Heritage was assigned for the restoration of Wah Teck Keong in 2005.
